What can go in a dumpster?
Most household junk, remodeling debris, construction waste, and roofing material can be accepted when loaded correctly.
Common accepted materials
- Furniture, boxes, household junk, and general cleanout debris.
- Wood, drywall, flooring, cabinets, siding, and remodel material.
- Roofing shingles and underlayment when quoted as roofing debris.
- Concrete, brick, dirt, or heavy debris only when approved in advance.
Ask before loading these items
- Wet paint, stains, fuels, oils, and solvents
- Batteries, propane tanks, and pressurized containers
- Tires, asbestos, medical waste, and hazardous chemicals
- Refrigerators, freezers, and appliances with refrigerants unless approved
- Liquids, food waste, and materials restricted by local disposal facilities
